I know just about 99.9% of the universe is opposed to Bush's plan, but have we heard about a sensible plan from people who oppose his? Getting the hell out of Iraq cold turkey is out of the question, ask any Democrat politician. It will definatly take time to phase out of Iraq, but has any other politician brought forth a plan of action? I'm not asking to be sarcastic, I'm asking to truly seek an honest answer. Anyone with knowledge about this please let me know. If you have a smart-*** answer, please neglect to leave it.

Get ready for $6.00 a gallon gas and rampant Islamic Fundamentalism if we pull out of there now - two options - find a way to win (which President Bush is trying to do) or lose. I don't know if his current plan will work or not so I guess I fall into the .1% that do not oppose it because I believe we ( the US) need to put things right over there and at least he (President Bush) has put forth a plan. It's easy to sit back and say "That won't work" and then not put another plan out there for scrutiny (Obama). So, in short - I don't know and neither does any one else.

And one more thing - Magpie is a Big Fat Dooty-Head with his head in the sand and a conspiracy around every corner - what a pin-head.

Honestly a cold turkey pull out could be just what its gona come down too. We basicaly took out a gov that wasnt pro Iran and replaced them with a new gov that is pro Iran. Way to go bush and anyone who supported him and his actions. If you really think sending only 21,000 more troops to Iraq is gona solve anything you're lost 21,000 troops is nothing compaired to the amount of insurgents sending them will create. Of course we all know what bush's real plan is... To have so many troops around Iran that they are forced into taking the first shot or faking it and saying they did it... Either way we are going to war with Iran if bush has anything to say about it. And why would he want a war against Iran? Control not of Iran or the middle east but control of the homeland. Bush and his henchs want to bring about dictatorship in america and probably world wide. This is very much looking like the set up right before the blitz the germans pulled on europe only this time the US has the technological advancedness to pull it off if the world lets it begin. Your freedoms are gone the second you start believing your country can do no harm.

What good would it do for the Democrats to give anyone a plan. Bush is in charge and he is going to do this his way like he has all along. He could care less that the majority of Americans think it's a mistake to send more troops but he plans to do it anyway. He got us in this mess and plans to leave it for his successor to figure out; but in the mean time more of our men and women must die so he can say he did everything he could to "win" the war in Iraq.

I think Bush is the president for a reason, the fact that people don't agree with his plan is their problem since they voted for him. I'm not into politics, so I don't support either party, but his plan is better than anything else...whatever that is. Besides, it will end the war quicker.
