I have had the worst day ever today?

How do you unwind and what do you advise to help me relax?

If you have had a day you can unwind from...it was a long way from the worst day ever!...

Suggest you sit back with a glass of wine and just think about the world tonight and what is going on in it...I do this...it doesn't relax me...but it does remind me that i could relax if I really wanted to...

Get a pillow and beat it up, throw it around, stomp on it, punch it. This well release pent up stress. After that have a nice snack, watch a movie or tv show you like or take a bubble bath and read a book. Or call a good friend or relative and vent. Or do all of the above in whatever order you want, except for the pillow thing, that needs to be done first to release the tension.

A glass of red wine... a great movie... or listening to some mood changing songs. Anything that takes your mind off the day... and onto the present moment. A love watching a clever movie like The Bourne Identity or something.. or runaway jury... something that makes you think and gets you involved in another story rather than your own! I've had many many bad days... actually answering other people's questions aint too bad either! don't worry .. be happy.... it'll be better soon!

Call a friend/family member and talk about what happened. That always helps. Have your favorite food for supper, and/or dessert (in moderation!). And do whatever else helps you relax - watch TV, take a warm bubble bath, read a book. And remember, tomorrow is another day. Approach it with confidence and things should go better.

Take a deep breath and exhale. Drink some chamomille tea or some valerian root tea, these are natural agents that relax and soothe. Don't take things any more seriously than they warrant.
Look to tomorrow and realize that you have another opprotunity to have a better day and many more after that.

I, on the other hand, have had a really good day. But, enough about me. I would suggest a long hot bath using Radox, with floating candles and a glass of your favourite wine. Then sit and watch TV/DVDs with the rest of the bottle of wine and a box of Ferrero Roche. Bliss.

Take a long hot bath with pleanty of bubbles, Canldes only for light so block out any daylight and play gentle music (not loud). Take 5 deep slow breaths in and when you exhale imagine all those irritating moments from hell coming out of your body in your breath. picture them floating away in the room and eventually disapearing into the candle light. once you get out th bath you will feel like a new person.
