when i plugged my ipod in, it would pop up in itunes under devices. now it doesnt show up at all anywhere, no matter how many times i plugg it back in. what do i do????

glimpse through their vague and generalised support guide, so that if you call, you can say you did. I'd advise going to an Apple store though because then you can actually show someone whats wrong instead of just having someone tell you to read their troubleshooting manual.

You have to go to ipod update by clicking: start,all programs, ipod update, restore, the most common reason for people to have a problem similar to this is because they remove their ipod from the computer when your ipod says Do Not Disconnect on the screen, causing the computer to not recognize it. Before you disconnect your ipod you first have to: click on the taskbar safely remove hardware and then usb mass storage and then apple usb device and then stop. I hope this can help you out.

check under preferences and click on the tab that says ipod you might have been messing around with it and accedently hit a button it should have options and one should be sync ipod at startup click on that and it should work
