Yes. 25 years from manufactured date is an antique.

There is a fine line between antique and "Junk". If you have an older MC in good condition, it may be, or may eventually be, an antique.

For a vehicle to realistically be an antique, it must have a market, or someone else that believes its worth something.

Unfortunately a lot of old vehicles, even though they would qualify as an antique in years, are just Junk as no-one wants them.

For example, an old beat up 1982 Kawasaki 125 probably isn't worth a whole lot, but an old, beat up, 1982 Harley Electra Glide is.

"Classic" is a term used in error whether it be on a car or a bike. Just because a machine is over a certain age does not make it a classic. It is "collectible". Case in point...the 1957 Chevy. It's a popular car but it is NOT considered a classic. It's "collectable". Classic cars are Duesenbergs, V-16 Cadillacs, pre-war Packards. In fact in the car world there are NO post-WW ll cars considered classics. In time, the 57 Chevy may attain "classic" status but it hasn't yet. So your 1982 "Whateveritis" is just 25 years old.
