Well now, that is really a very interesting question. Have you ever seen Sandy Berger? There would be very little room for Sandy to smuggle anything out in his pants. To me, he seemed like an intelligent person: so I suspect if he "smuggled" anything out--- he put it in a brief case and just walked out with papers. No smuggling there. All the guard had to do was stop him and ask him to open the brief case.
By the way, what makes you think those papers[sure even this happened?-- or is this just another of your opinions!] had any value except to his own knowledge.

I'm surprised you're blaming Clinton for something Bush just took responsibility for.
No, Clinton didn't screw the country. What information was withheld, exactly? Government agencies and officials knew plenty about Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, the terrorists, plots, plans...they didn't use the information they had. I'm sure if they'd had more information, they would have ignored that, too.
The information that was clear, available, and fairly complete wasn't used. Blame officials for ignoring facts that were smacking them upside the head.
And for the record, I read an article in Glamour magazine about the Taliban...in 1996. Are you telling me that Glamour had a scoop that the government didn't? Why is it that Glamour reported on a women's rights issue and nobody responded...but everybody responded when they bombed the Twin Towers?
Sounds like sexism to me! If Afghanistan was willing to terrorize its own women, it's no leap of logic to assume they'll terrorize the US at large.
And what good does the 9/11 commission do if the president won't follow their recommendations? Why bother leading him to knowledge if you can't make him think?
This isn't a case of 20/20 hindsight. This is people ignoring facts until it's far too late to prevent tragedies. Don't blame Clinton--he was ignored like everybody else.

It's difficult to tell - when the current president is so secretive - and why did W Bush seal the papers of his daddy, when they are supposed to be made available to the public 12 years after the end of the Presidency? What's daddy and son got to hide?

i like the link you provided to back up your claim. are you claiming clinton was president on 9/11 or was in control of our defenses? bush ignores everyones suggestions and it is clintons fault. bush invades iraq and it is clintons fault, even though clinton never started a war.
TY again chump. at least you aren't like most here.

The failure of our present government and military would be to blame.
Rather than using the "Lib's scapegoat" that only you "true" Americans are so fond of, it has gotten to look like a scratched record with all the ranting of people like you who can only see one side of the story.
