Why would it matter to you what they wear? You have no idea about their personal situation. Maybe they just LIKE THE CLOTHES.
Perhaps the brand fits their body type well
What if they have a family member who works for the store, and they shop there for a discount
Do you think its possible a relative bought them the clothes as a gift and they are wearing it so as not to be rude to Aunt Trudy?

There are so many factors in someone's life that you know nothing about. How presumptous and rude of you to make judgements on something as petty as why they wear a certain brand, when you won't even take the time to learn about that person or their life at all. It reflects poorly on you to have such a poor excuse of a way to spend your time as making assumptions and then actually posting them on the internet

It's all really peer pressure. I mean, if some preppy blonde went to a total skateboarder school, they'd probablt start wearing element and DCs and stuff to fit in and make friends. And maybe if a skateboarder came to a preppy school and wanted friends, they'd probably wear american eagle and stuff. But i think it's usually the people that aren't sure of who they are or aren't sure if people will like them that do that.

umm no offence but quicksilver and volcom are just brands..maybe they are sick of the ppl like you who are trying to tell them what they can and cannot wear and just want to try different things, gaw ppl are so annoying about all of this stereotypical stuff with who should wear what and how ppl should be

Maybe they are wearing the clothes because they like them and they are comfortable. With the exception of uniforms and possibly a wedding dress, who is to say who can wear what when?

Who ever said that clothes are made for certain people only? I think that you should wear what you want. What difference does it make? :o)

Nothing bothers me more than the word "poser". Those clothes aren't made for one type of person... people can wear whatever they want and be whoever they want. Why do you care anyway? Let people be themselves...

Maybe it is because they like the style. Certain clothes aren't only for certain people who do certain things.

for some stupid reason all of my friends decided "hey! wouldn't it be cool to be punk?" so they all went punk in around seventh grade, and then more went punk and emo and crap in eighth grade. I think its sooo stupid. be yourself. its dumb just to change yourself to fit in and be cool. I wear what I want to wear and do what I want to do and say what I want to say. I would never change mysle fto be like everyone else. it's better to stand out. thats the only reason people change themselves, to be like everyone else or to be cool or fit in. if you have to change yourself to fit in with a group of people, then you obviousley dont belong with them. i think people who change themselves are idiots.

They feel pressured by socioty and the media is brainwashing them, telling them what to do and what not to do. Some people just like the clothes *shrugs*
