If you are Museum oriented don't miss the Museum of Fine Arts, or the Science Museum in which you can interact with what's there. Take a walk through Harvard campus and reach the Geological Museum. You can go shopping. Get to see the city from above. (I forgot the building's name) Take a walk by Old Boston or along the river. Don't miss the aquarium. Take a Harbour cruise, the weather will be tolerable. Visit the JFK Library and some more on his life. The view from this place is great! (Except for the planes). Try to get the city pass to see different attractions during your stay. Best of all is to follow the trail to historic sites and stop to have a coffee every now and then.
Good travel!

I would highly recommend going on the Duck Tours. It is a land and sea vehicle that takes you on a tour of the streets of Boston then drives right into the Charles River and drives around there while giving interesting facts about the city. I live here and learned a ton when I went.
The Museum of Fine Arts is also nice. Try having lunch in the North End in any of the restaurants, they are all great! Check out the view of Boston and Cambridge from the Skywalk at the Prudential Building.
Have a great time!

Will you be there over St. Patrick's Day? That is quite an event in Boston (especially if you like Guiness). Other than that, there is the Freedom Trail, pointing out sites of historic Boston, Newbury street for shopping, the Museum of Fine Arts or the Museum of Science are nice if the weather is no good, and Harvard Sq. is a nice area to visit.

if you like bowling, go to boston bowl in quincy- its 24 hours and great
check out the zakim bridge, its beautiful (the colorful one)
go to cambridge, but don't just check out harvard square, go to davis square as well and eat in the restaurant that looks like a bus and go to a jazz club
go to sentarpio's pizza in east boston (ask for directions)... its the pizzeria where al capone once ate along with pretty much every great boxer in the last 40 years
take a duck tour if you're with a date (or a potential date)... its light-hearted and corny but also informative and then afterwards you can get them drunk and talk about the duck tour.
go to jillians boston (its right next to fenway park)... its a huge entertainment complex with a roof-top bar, a high-class arcade, a bowling alley, and lots of other fun things
take the spirit of boston (its a dinner cruise) to see boston harbor... its a nice trip but a little pricy (maybe 75 bucks)

Definately go do a tour of Fenway - the best ball park. Its cheap and there is great restaurants all around the ballpark. Check out Game On next to the park for food or the Cask'n Flag'n. Both awesome places.
Also, the Museum of Science is a great time.

regrettably, once you're searching for a large number of relaxing activities in Boston for the time of Christmas, you're going to go back up short. yet once you're searching for a chilled romantic vacation, i ought to elect Boston. you are able to discover the Nutcracker, go ice-skating on the Frog Pond, and be conscious the suitable Christmas lights for the time of city.

Go to the Aquarium. 7 stories of fish and penguins! Wander around the North End. Sea the fish market, shop, and eat at tons of little places. (But Legal Seafood is great even though it's famous.)
