My dishwasher is leaking from underneath. i stopped using it for a week and the motor just hummed the next time i tried to use it. After a months of non use because of it not working I found that all I needed to do was turn the motor fan to un jam it. Now I just have the leak problem. I found where it is coming from. I know what part to get. need an inpeller kit. Where the fan stem goes into the pump is where it is leaking. Wanted to know if anyone knew of a temporary fix till I get the part in.

No. There is no temporary fix for a leaking pump seal on a GE dishwasher. Accept the offer for the part at wholesale and fix it right.

Mine was leaking for a while also. Have you disconnected the pipe where it's connected to the sink and checked for clogs? Mine had a plug of old detergent about the size of a plum in the pipe. Once it was unclogged the leaking stopped of course. A simplistic answer for probably a more complex problem, I apologize.

What Ron said. There isn't really a temp fix in that situation. I would recommend not using it until it is fixed properly.

And, seems you have a supplier now at wholesale cost. Can't beat that.
