I played Final Fantasy 7 quite a few times, but I one came accross an urban leagend, saying if you play the game right, Tifa will jump and push Aeris out of the way of Sephoroths sword, has anybody heard this rumer or even better, done it.

Aeris was already Killed by Sephiroth. Somebody once said that if you treat Aeris with the greatest respect in FF7, then Sephiroth won't appear, but that's gotta be a hoax.

An urban legend I know talked about on how they planned to put a quest to revive Aerith/Aeris, but due to limited time and budget, it was never put in the final version of the game.

The truth of that, I don't know, but there seems some indications in the game that indicate Aerith/Aeris might have indeed planned to be part of the group in the final fight against Jenova.

Anyway. The closest thing in the final version of game that is possibily a replacement for the 'revive Aerith/Aeris' quest, is when the team search for a way to find out if the White Materia used by Aerith/Aeris did managed to contact Earth/Holy.

As for the urban legend of Tifa saving Aerith/Aeris.

That I don't know. But could it be the two have a lesbian relationship? ;)

Anyway. It seems unlikely, since the only ones that know Sephiroth was there were Cloud and Aerith/Aeris. Cloud know it since he's part of Jenova and Sephiroth, while Aerith/Aeris seems to intentionally lured Sephiroth.

Aeris has to die. That's that. End of story. It's like trying to find a 17th Colossus in Shadow of the Colossus or trying to find Luigi in Super Mario 64. They are urban legends and only exist in photoshop.

It's not true, its been tried countless times, its not possible because it would be changing the entire story in the game, and final fantasy VII wouldn't be the same or created etc.

However, there is a cheat that allows you to have Aeris in your party after she's died, but it overmaskes another cahracter, so its like she doesn't exist...

She's is supposed to die. End of story. I've spent waaaay to much time trying to find (and make) her alive, but all it does is screw up the game during cutscenes.
We have to face the hard truth...she cannot return...
Until a sequel comes.
COME ON FFVII-2!!
