I'm glad he's not going to be able to run again, but even if he could I seriously doubt he would win and I seriously doubt he would want to run again...I think Bush can't wait until he gets out of office and pass on the problems he created to someone else just like many Americans can't wait until he's out

Well, I am a Bush person (I respect the office of the
President of the United States), but I'm glad he'll be
able to enjoy some of his retirement years at his ranch
doing what he likes to do best,......enough of this
hypocracy in politics from the Democrats. He's taken
enough crap (like a gentleman, I might add) during his
term and he never dishonored the White House with an
outside affair, he never called anyone names like others
have him, he has lowered taxes, gas prices are coming
down, and I feel he tried to do his best to protect the US
from terrorist threats. We'll see what happens if terrorists
attack when the Democrats are in office .... of course,
Clinton did nothing when the bomb hit New York.

Glad, man i can not even begin to express the over-whelming maelstrom of emotions that hit me, some one should coin a new word to precisely express the level of joy one feels from the fact that bush can't run again!! I do propose the first holiday recognized world wide to mark the occasion.

I'm sorry he ran the 2 other times, just be on guard for Jeb or God forbid Laura!

I'm not a GWB fan either.

PS why did the first George drop the W from his name? It used to be George Herbert Walker Bush (GHWB)

On one thought, I wish Bush had the chance to run again. Considering his current approval ratings, it could have been the worst lop-sided defeat of a presidential candidate in history.

At least we'll have a new President we can arbitrarily call a jackass. Do you think Kerry would have done better? Do you think electing a Democrat that will increase our taxes, open our borders, and cut back on national defense is a better idea? Open your eyes. Try to make a difference instead of complaining.

I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to work it so he could stay in office as long as he wanted. I will be glad when he's gone as I was never happy he made it in the first place. We need some who is smart, politically adept, and actually knows what he or she is doing in the Oval Office.

I am glad he can't run again. One thing I can't understand is 'if he is a donkey', the people in this country are bigger donkeys to elect him again. I thought this was country of intelligent people.
