Jackie Chan has 3 little stripes on his sides. I don't know what it means or if its bad. Can you please tell me what it is and if its bad how can I help him?!?!

bettas often have stripes -- particularly females. they are usually not good for shows but are kind of cute. you should find a betta health site where common betta diseases are accompanied with pictures -- common ones are dropsy, ich, velvet, popeye, constipatation, fin rot, swim bladder disease -- none involve black stripes. you should try doing yahoo image searches for these to familiarize yourself with what might happen and how to act quickly to play fish doctor and give jackie chan a long and healthy life.
