I'm a 19 year old girl. I read that it's average height for a woman to be 5'2 - 5'5. So am I average height?

The average height (50% percentile) for your age is just over 5'4" (in 2000).
You can consider yourself average but closer to the short range.
5'2 1/2" and below would be short. (25% percentile)
5'6" and above would be tall. (25% percentile)

actually the average hieght for women is 5'4" and my sister is 15 at 5'2"
i think the average height should be 5'6" and ur a below but i think u can stil grow an inch or two

Just be lucky you are that height as i am only 5'2 .Dont forget that there are really short people out there. 5'3 isnt a bad height so be proud.

I think average height is actually 5'5'. And yes 5'3" is short. I'm about that height, and its really crappy. Invest in high heels!
To retort back to that Lenneth guy, yes it is borderline midget. Midgets are considered the height of 4'11"...which isn't a greath length from 5'3".

No, you're not average height. Not in America, anyway. Average height is 5'4"-5'6" usually

I think that you are like an inch short than what you should be. Im 14 and 5'3. sooo yeah and alot of my classmates are taller than me but I know alot of like 18 year olds that are 5'0 seriously, but I really want to get shorter, don't worry about it, you are not.reallly!

It's average. I'm 5'4" but I don't care about my height cause big personality is what matters :p If you want to be taller, wear taller shoes.

I am 18 and 5'2. Everyone always calls me shorty but I like my height and I love wearing my high heels!!!

It's not short to me because I'm only 5ft. I think by average people though you are considered short. Don't feel bad though Shorties are the best.
