I would recommend ipod nano or ipod video

i personally own an ipod nano but if you want to watch movies or music videos then get the ipod video

a nano is from $169 and a video is about $300

Depends on your preferences. The nano line is cheap and more portable, but the downside is the relatively small memory. Prices start at $150 plus taxes for the 2gb one (I own this by the way). If you want a really big memory, go for the ipod video. If i'm not mistaken, I believe prices start at $250 plus tax for the 30gb unit. Incidentally, this is also the same price for the 8gb iPod nano. The main difference would be that the video of course can play videos, while the nano can't. However, nano is a lot smaller, so it's more portable. For all purposes, the 2gb nano is enough for me. But If I had the money, I'd buy the video. A lot more memory, and I wouldn't really mind the size difference.

Of course there's also the shuffle. With 1gb of memory, it can store about 200-250 songs. Bad thing about it is there's no screen. So either play the songs shuffled or according to your playlist. Looks really cool though.

Well it depends, the newest king of ipods that came out are the generation 2 which is about $289 for 8 GB but if u want something cheaper then u can consider a smaller amout of GB or the original ipod nano that is about $139 with 2 GB.(try:www.bpphotovideo.com)

Ipod 30gig video, for 249 bucks it the best. hold 7500 songs and video and is a good price.

the new ipod nano is because it's slimmer,and easy navigation. The 2 gb is $149.00, 4gb is $199.00. and 8gb is 249.00 dollars
