I have been a huge Tesla fan since the mid-80's. Mechanical Resonance is still one of my favorite albums of all time. The Great Radio Controversy is also an awesome album. I liked that they were a blusey-metal-rock band. Very innovative for their time, in my opinion.

Tesla is the father of alternating current. Just like Marconi is the father of radio. Edison attempted to criticize Tesla's work, but AC carries voltage and current more efficiently than DC. DC voltages drop off over long distances.

tesla coils are awesome. i used to play a video game where it was russians vs americans. russians had tesla coils and they rocked the crap out of people.
