Yes, it was one of the best books I read last year. Found I learnt a lot from it - it's about a leper colony off the coast of Crete. It's a heartwarming, incredible tale and although not overtly sentimental I challenge anyone not to have a lump in their throat at some point.

I've read it and did so whilst on the Island of Crete. Its set there!
A very fine book - you'll enjoy it

yes its a fabulous book based on a true story of the history of spinalonga.its well worth reading.

This is a wonderful book. Great characterisation,an unusual theme, suspenseful and moving. I hope you will read it and enjoy it.
