Well, what is the theme of your book? I used to do art and i did a book cover too...my theme is future...so i used those plastic/ seethrough paper that you can print on..u can used it like a normal paper...it look so good...also, try to make your own paper...very easy...water , any paper...like a news paper....tear them apart soak them in water then squease the water out, mold it to ur required size and dry it...This will give u more grade.

Why don't you go to craft store and buy a large sheet of plain colored paper, maybe silver. This will be the bottom layer. Also buy a large sheet of Velum, (translucent paper). There is a cool image of a sword in a stone at-

Turn it into a black and white image and print it out on the velum paper. Lay the velom over the plain paper and it will look really professional and cool!
