Bonds he was and is the better ballplayer. And, since it seems many, many players used steroids at the same time he apparently did the 80's-90's should be known as the steroid era. Rose has been unwilling to say he is sorry which I think is bull, but is what baseball and most people want. I think he should be in the hall.

Also, if you really know what your talking about were steroids even illegal in baseball before 2005? Bonds already had seven MVP's

Pete Rose. I think he should be in the hall regardless of his gambling on baseball. He broke rules but he didnt cheat the game like Barry Bonds did. Bonds is the cause for the question of steroids anytime someone hits a homerun.

I don't care I am just so sick of the subject. Wait and see what time will tell. This subject has been beaten to death. It amazes me how many ways a question about Bonds can be phrased. No, I am not a fan of Bonds or Rose, I just think enough is enough. Zzzzzzzzz

1st off, Bonds DID admit he used steroids, he just claimed he didn't know AT THE TIME that they were steroids and now he was caught using Amphetamines. TWO felonies in one career.

So if I had to pick one it would be Rose. His actions did not effect the game between the lines.

This is a no-brainer. Pete Rose by a landslide. Rose may have gambled, but he earned his stats. Bonds cheated on his stats.

The accomplishments of Pete Rose in baseball were not enhanced by illegal drug use (as far as we know). On the other hand Bonds will probably break Hammerin' Hanks HR record this season, but how many of those homers were actually Barry and how many were FrankenBarry the steroid monster? Hands down put Pete in the Hall.

No contest...Pete is one of the best hitters ever, loved the game, and played with a passion we dont see anymore. Bonds is a liar and a cheat he used steroids to improve his skills Pete had a gambeling problem. Bonds should retire now and show some respect for the game.

Rose. Easy. I am not a fan of Rose and do not think he should be in the hall either, but you said I had to choose. Rose did not cheat during his career as a player. I am a huge Giants fan and used to be a huge Bonds fan, but I think what he did was a monstrous assault on the credibility of the game. His name and numbers should not only be expunged from the record books, but all of the score-books, archives, transcripts, libraries etc. It should be as if he never played the game.
