Man i don't know what Caribbean island that girl far above me went to,to visit but it ain't,Jamaica.

As a local from Montego Bay,when i was still there it wasn't a problem for me to get on line,by going to the many, designated, areas in and around Montego bay that was own and operated by business persons, open to the public, such as the library, but such avenues do exist, especially in Negril.

However you won't have to bother your self as most Hotels have a computer that you can access, from a central location within the resort.

I have work in the industry for two years, and at Half moon because of its more upscale setting had a computer (TWO) in each of its Royal Villas for their guess.

Not typically Internet Cafes; however most resorts have access for a fee but you wont need (or usually be able to use) your own computer.
But bring the laptop anyway, it comes in handy on layovers (movies!).
Jamaica is still a third world country and some of the things we take forgranted here arent event known yet. I brought my iPod and everyone thought I was from out of space!
Be prepared to communicate over prepaid international phone cards via the resort phone and aside from that you wont be interested in anyone or anything back home for a while. Arie!

If you are still heading to Negril there are many. Easy Rock Internet Cafe on West End where you can also print your digital photos, Blue Waters Internet Cafe also on West End but closer to the town center. There's also small internet place in Sunshine Village Plaza shopping center, just on the left at the entrance. There's one on the beach as well but i can't recall exact location, just check the signs.

They are littered all over the resort areas. Most hotels have them for free if you are a guest. If you have a laptop bring it all the same.

Alot of the resorts have them right there. If you go to allinclusive most have them in the room.
