I don't regret things I choose to do - because even if it all falls apart - I've learned never to do it again and can take that away from the experience!
This makes it sound like I regret things I don't do.
But I don't regret those either! Probably because I'm too stubborn to do so!
If there's a difficult desicion to make you just have to go with what seems like the best choice at the time. You have a choice afterwards whether to regret it or not. As long as you're honest with yourself when choosing what to do next, you can't regret it later, no matter what the future brings. Life's full of tough calls - you just learn to live with what goes right and what goes wrong

I have taken allot of risks and now i don't because i have a child. I can not regret a single thing I ever did because every step took me to this place with my precious little girl. Sometimes I kinda miss walking on the wild side, but not near as much as I love being he mom. Plus I learned allot from my many experiences.

As long as I learn from it and don't hurt people through the process, I can live down anything it seems. My rule is typically that I'm allowed to make any mistake once, but if it bites me hard I better not be making the same mistake twice, as in I learn. So yeah, I take risks knowing that if they don't pay off now, they'll pay off later when I know not to do the same thing again.

There will always be regrets but it's better to regret something that you chose to do then to regret not having the courage to to a chance in the first place.

Anyway, you can then make another decision to fix whatever you regret afterwards.

No, I'm not a risk taker - in the physical sense - if that's is what you are actually meaning.

I cannot afford to be else "anything" likely to happen to me by way of even a minor injury would have a domino effect on the rest of my life.

Sash.

Sure I take risks. I think you have to in order to live life to the fullest. I avoid having regrets by taking responsibility for my own actions. I try to think things through and only do things I am proud of. No ones perfect but I try to be justified in my actions.
