Looking for a movie that's slightly offbeat, maybe about a dysfunctional family...but funny. A Dark Comedy, but I'm 15 so nothing that will go way over my head, lol... I like movies like American Beauty and Ghost World, nething like that?

'the royal tenenbaums' is dark comedy about a dysfunctional family. there's also 'the squid and the whale' and 'pieces of april' with katie holmes, and surprisingly i really liked it!

woop woop im 15 too! I dont know. I just like the pirates of the carribeans but it doesnt seem like you like that stuff. No what is a really goodmovie CHICAGO! Or how about Little Miss Sunshine they are a disfunctional family!

wow. i was going to say the same thing. little miss sunshine is definately the perfect movie. I counted how many times they say f*** its like 26. that movie practically made me pee my pants, yet theres a lot of lessons in it too. every member of the family has something totally wierd with them except the mom who just tries to keep them from falling apart. get it!
