Its not like a yeast infection (no itch or burning/irritation), but it's a more mucus type substance that I'm dealing with, and not orgasms. I wanted to research it a little bit before I went running to the doc's office. I've even tried douche, and it only looks like snot when I'm done, like those nose suction things.

It's probably ovulation, especially if it comes mid-cycle, with a kind of sharp pain.

You are ovulating. This usually occurs 2 weeks before your menstrual cycle and can last up to a week. There is nothing you need to do about it and douching will just irritate it. Your body has it's own "cleansing" cycle during this time.

You are most likely ovulating.10-15 days after the 1st day of your period is something called mittelschmirz--A German word I may be incorrectly spelling--but anyway, that is when the egg is released (ovulation),the mucous increases, and gets 'stretchy'.Also, some dull aching to one side of the abdomen or the other is often accompanied with these other symptoms.
Obviously, this is the time that you are most likely to get pregnant.
