All of those words are nouns.
Hiatus - a break
addendum - an addition to something already said or written, when you finish a conversation with someone, and say 'oh, by the way . . . ' your making an addendum
Overture, Prelude - an introduction that tells the main points of the work to follow. In music, it will contain bits and pieces of each section of the full piece, in a play or poem it will give a bit of background, and explain what is happening when the story starts.
Coda, epilogue - the end of a piece of music or a story, after all the action is over. In a movie, the epilogue would be the part where the guy and girl ride off into the sunset. It basicly tells you what happens to everyone after the story is over.
Preamble, Preface - the same as a prelude or prologue, but for a nonfiction book or story.
I hope this helps

First of all, your first definition is partly wrong. "To suspend until a later time" is the definition for a verb because it starts with the word "to", but hiatus is a noun. The best way to tell the part of speech of a vocabulary word is to look at the first word of the definition. If it starts with "to", it is a verb. If it starts with (or could start with) "a", "an" or "the", then it is a noun. Using this info, you can conclude that all of the vocabulary words are nouns.
