Where can I find the laws that apply in the state of New York? Maybe there's a website for the federal legislation too?
I'm a European lawstudent and interested in international judicial systems

Yes, you can access New York Consolidated Statutes using the FindLaw.com website.

Here is their URL:

They also should have access to US Federal Statutes. (United States Codes).
