One way is to know what you are saying instead of memorizing it.
Another way is using a series of mental images. For instance, years ago I still remember this:
Imagine a delicate plate suspended before you ... now imagine an ink pen sticking through it .. now think of a New Jersey Milk Cow biting the pen ... then Marilyn Monroe milking the cow .... etc etc ... the point is ... it is a way to remember the original 13 states and the order they entered the Union .... Delaware (plate), Pennsylvania (Pen), New Jersey (Cow), Maryland (Marilyn Monroe) .. etc, Visualization and association can help.

Keep reading it over and over again, while watching TV or something so your not so bored. If you don't want to do that, you could just pick out the important stuff, write another report and use that so it would be shorter and easier to remember. 8 hours should be enough time.
GLAD TO HELP!

Take one hour to read repetitively your report. Then repeat it out loud without reading. You don't actually need eight hours but trying to repeat without reading a long time will help.

i might advise the tape recording to play collectively as you sleep. additionally, in case you do no longer ought to appreciate it word for word (which i assume you do no longer), purely having the main significant thought and the main mandatory info from each and each paragraph ought to suffice. or you ought to bypass the previous-fasioned way and purely examine it returned and returned till it sticks. bypass sentence with tips from sentence, and once you're allowed cue taking part in cards, deliver 'em up there with you. keep the biggest factors on them, so which you will improve on them once you're conversing. in case you realize your stuff, you will do positive. good success!
