You do it one sentence at a time. You won't need to repeat each sentence exactly when you give your report. Just make sure you get the gist of it and cover all aspects you wanted to cover. Can you have a couple of note cards in front of you with the major points so that you just need to expand on them?
If you have to totally memorize it, just start with the first sentence. You wrote it, correct? So think about what you intended to say and how you intended to say it. Make sure that everything is in a sensible order so it will be easier for you to remember it. Read the sentence slowly two or three times and then try to repeat it with good expression. Check for accuracy. Repeat the process sentence by sentence, adding a sentence at a time to your repetition. It is probably a good thing that you are doing the report in a few hours. You don't have to worry about it for too long now.
As the previous poster said, tape recording it is a good idea. But if you do that, don't just listen to it. Also say it as you are listening to the tape, and have a print copy of it in front of you at the same time. Having both the auditory and the print and speaking it will help reinforce it for you.
Best of luck with your project.

I'd suggest the tape recording to play while you sleep.
Also, if you don't need to know it word for word (which I assume you don't), just having the main concept and the most important details from each paragraph should suffice.
Or you could go the old-fasioned way and just read it over and over until it sticks. Go sentence by sentence, and if you're allowed cue cards, bring 'em up there with you. Keep the key points on them, so you can expand on them when you're speaking. If you know your stuff, you'll do fine.
Good luck!

Break it down in an outline. Make the header for each section short or tag a key word to it. Memorize each section, then memorize the short section header or tag words. Good Luck.

for a starter you have to know what it is you are talking about. If you did not do the research then I would suggest reading about the subject first so that you can talk about it and know what it is you are saying. the judges know right away when someone does not even know what they are talking about.
From there it is easy for if you know what you are talking about then 5 minutes is nothing. Write yourself points you want to discuss on a note card and you will not get too lost that way.
Good luck

get some index cards and write your report on them and then use them like flash cards, it is really helpful and then use them before your report at least five minutes before for refresher and it stays fresh in your mind. I used them in college they work. good luck.
