Minimum tank for uaru is a 125, they'll get up to a foot long, and then have your barbs for a snack.

bettachris has a free fish forum: http://fishroom.proboards106.com/index.cgi

he has over 13 years experience and is happy to help anyone with fish questions:

from what he told me, yes and no, as uaru cichlids will grow massive, and when fully grown adults they may eat small tiger barbs. but if both small yes they can live together.

if the barbs are in the tank first, and big enough to not get eaten... they should be ok... i dont know how big those cichlids get so u might have to seperate them later... the barbs might get beaten up a bit.. but they r hardy and should make it... depending on ur tank size and the number of cichlids... anything bigger than a 20 gal should be fine

Sorry I do not know what that fish is. But, I know that tiger barbs are very aggressive towards other fish
