For many years if you were listening to a weather report in the summer time and they mention the coldest temp out there and then the hottest Bull Head was always the hottest without question.

It's right across the bridge from Laughlin, Nevada. There are a lot of retirees in Bullhead. The Colorado River runs right through it. What's really weird, is Arizona does not follow day light savings, so in the spring and summer, if you cross the bridge into Laughlin, you are a hour ahead of Bullhead. I used to work in one of the casinos, and I had to be at work by 7:00, and I was staying on the AZ side, so I would leave for work at 7:45 and cross the bridge and be on time for work. It was kinda strange, but kinda cool. Also, the river is beautiful.

Bullhead City is located in Northwestern Arizona near Lake Havasu City close to the Colorado River and the Nevada border. Very hot there in the summer months of June until mid September.

it is a hell hole near a gambling mecca where everyone works. Either that or they are 89 y/o & retired to a trailer park. It is on the arizona/ca. border laughingly called Laughlin. there are pretty good shows in the casinos but I never won a nickle there. It gets to 125 degrees- no joke
