Do we have a choice? We leave Iraq, it falls to radical Islam and a puppet to Iran. Yes, we will lose lives...But can we tolerate a haven for al-Qaeda...and a strengthening of it since 911---as has happened this year?
Yes, I don't like the Iraqi situation, but is there no way back?
I guess I view it like this---were already going through the tunnel going at increasingly high speed...we don't have time to stop because it would be worse further along the tracks---so our only choice is to accelerate..
I don't want to see a nuclear holocaust from radicals due to our inaction now, similar to our inaction in pushing back the soviet union with Patton and preventing it from acquiring a nuclear weapon...
we did nothing...and we risked the planet being obliterated...
will the rise of radical Islam if we leave make a terrorist acquire more then 1 nuke, and then blow one in a major city, and thereafter holding others ransom to prevent retaliation from the US? The real nuclear war

It’s a whole mess---I don't think we can stop now, our only choice, is to accelerate.

maybe if we don’t accelerate to save some troops—our unforseen consequences would be making a united radical Islamic empire expand its influence (Iran-Iraq-some with Syria)...and empowered with oil money....its only a matter of time before they find a nuke in Russia with the 20 unaccounted ones...get one through Iran, or NK just simply, gets bored and sells one....after all, Kim jong ill doesn't care much about his people.
Maybe it will happen anyway, but I think the only choice for us now, is to accelerate and brace for an impact.
