I went to Uppsala Universitet, where they have good social science and medical studies. Many of the courses are taught in English, and most textbooks are, as well. It is convenient to Stockholm, with train service every hour. It only takes 45 minutes, and is reasonably priced, especially for students. Student housing at Flogsta has single rooms with a private bath and shared kitchen.
Be sure to research the weather; it gets to be -30F, plus wind chill. It is VERY dark in the winter, with only about 4 1/2 hours of daylight, and the sun stays on the horizon while it IS up.
The universities at Lund, Linskoping, and Malmo also have fine reputations.
I found Swedish to be very simple to learn. Swedish and English grammar have only 12 differences, and much of the vocabulary is the same.

What field of study?

I'm raised in Stockholm and study here so it's hard to tell me what it's like. It also depends on what country you're used to I think.

The Royal Institute of Technology have about 40 Master programmes in english if you want to study Engineering/Science or Architecture.
