While traditionally you shouldn't wear white after labor day or whatever, I think that with today's fashion, white is a very in color and you can wear a white purse whenever you'd like. I used a big old white purse during the summer so much it fell apart, or I'd still be using it now.

I usually buy things in off white and wear them whenever I like, that is if I want to wear a white for some reason. Usually a real white is in after Easter and before Labor Day.
