I don't think it will make any difference. Americans as a whole don't care about soccer. One person, no matter how good or how popular will not change the minds of those who don't like soccer or those who just don't care about it, myself included. I think you're wrong, sorry but you asked.

I think it will, but I think the American soccer players might resent him, we have the talent out there too, but how many US players make half a billion dollars?
