Limewire does not download from Limewire.com
The Limewire program is safe but what you can download using it can be infected with viruses, spyware etc. You will be downloading "stuff" from unknown stranger's computers while they will be uploading from your computer at the same time.
Always scan every file you download with your anti-virus and your anti-spyware before you open it

You have a better chance of sleeping with an entire AIDS ward & walking away virus free then downloading a single file from limewire.

when using limewire (not using its site) you are connecting with others pc's remotely
the chances are there to get a virus or other malware
some dont have any problems,many do
make sure your anti-virus is up todate and you scan the files
contrary to what hillary burton says adaware se is a spyware program it will not detect or remove a virus or program

I believe limewire is a safe download, providing you have all necessary protection. I personally use limewire without a problem. DOWNLOAD BABY!!

There is no safe place to download unless you have a good antivirus program. I Use Norton and have never got a virus from downloading anywhere. I have also downloaded from Limewire and have never had any rejected by Norton as containing a virus.

Yes it is safe, I have it, but it is always good to have some kind of protection. Also, when it comes to music it is pretty safe, what you have to be careful is if you are downloading software, videos, etc.

That was my same question n i now i think it isn´t cuz my computer got a little slow even if i had a virus protector.

the tendency to get a virus is high especially when you download a programs.. so i better stayout of it..
