What do you do if your "supposed" friend is being a pain in the butt. She thinks she is so much better than you now that she has a boyfriend, who by the way isnt cute/hot etc.She openly mocks you in front of your other friends in a mean way. She glares you down in class and hits you with books. Yeah, she actually hits you with a 600 page book.
What would you do???

I would back off from her...see if she even misses you.. don't tolerate that sort of treatment.. I wouldn't be hateful to her but I would show her that I have friends that treat me better and that I enjoy their company since they know how to treat people... Don't be an enabler for her actions. You don't deserve it.. maybe she's jealous for some reason.. Have you ask her why the change in behavior?

Some friend, probably just ignore her until she falls off of her high horse. If she mocks you or makes fun of you, maybe you should just ask her why she "is so much better than you now" in front of all of those people. Not mean like or anything, but she should not treat you like that. Especially by hitting you. She really has no right trying to intimidate you and if you allow this to go on, she will continue to BULLY you. What you could do is go to a counselor, but, we all know what kids say about tattletales so this is a touchy situation. I assume her boyfriend must like you for her to try to berate you in this manner. I really believe that she is trying to show someone that she is something and I can only assume it must be a boy. BE COOL. And look for a True Friend. She apparently doesn't know how to be one.

You just pointed out everything negative that a friend shouldn't be. Granted, me and my friends roughhouse, but if I ever hit anyone with a 600 page book then odds are I'm most likely not trying to play around but actually knock the crap out of them. I'd just ignore her or not be her friend anymore; there are people out there that could treat you way better than that as a friend.

This year i had some trouble with my friends too. She had a boy friend and would give me really nasty glares in class. we got over it, but my point is.... i felt that because of that she wasnt my friend. i just tryed to ignore her looks and stay away. i wouldnt fight back, that just makes things worse. my mom took me to her house one day and wanted us to talk and work things out. at first i was horrified. i thought that by doing this it would make it worse. we talked and worked things out. now were good friends. try to talk to her. ask her whats wrong and if something is bothering her. if she keeps doing it then im sorry, but she probably isnt your true friend. just try to stay out of her way, then eventually she might get over it and want to be ur friend again.

Ditch her, or if that's too sudden or hard, faze her out.
