I agree this is one dangerous individual,I think America will soon
realise what this man is doing is complete madness.Problem is
he has achieved his goal in Iraq(oil)so whatever happens now
will be a smokescreen to hide the real reasons for the war.

Over the last years, and especially over the last months, it has become crystal clear that the US have not made Iraq a better place. You simply don't make a country a better place by merely arresting its leader and executing him. Iraq is on the verge of a civil war, and Saddam's execution has probably added some more tension, blood and gore to what already existed. Now he is a martyr, and a martyr is very powerful.

Instead of controlling the tension, the violence and the suicide attacks, the US has managed to do the opposite. The extra troops send over the last year have not managed to contribute to a more stabile Iraq. That does not necessarily say anything about the skills and qualities of the troops, but it says a lot about the scope of the problem. Iraq does not want foreigners to rule their country, especially not if these foreigners misbehave (Abu Graib prison scandal), bomb and kill innocent civilians and plan to bomb more Islamic countries. And can you blame them, really?

I have not even mentioned the 3000 dead American soldiers (and the hundreds of casualties amongst other nationalities who are in Iraq; for some reason we are only talking about dead Americans), the oil spills, the rising oil prices, the children who suffer, and the overall destabilisation in the region.

Americans who see this as anti-American: Grow up, and get rid of that chip on your shoulder! This is not meant as an anti-American piece, and if you read very carefully you know this. I have lived in the US, I have American friends and family, and have nothing against Americans in general. I am against the regime in Washington, because I think Bush and comrades have made this world a more dangerous instead of a safer place.

Let me make this loud and clear; GEORGE BUSH ISN'T DOING ANYTHING FOR THE WORLD HE JUST WANTS TO MAKE MONEY AND SHOW THE WORLD THAT AMERICA IS #1 (which isn't true) I hate him because he is a greedy and selfish man and doesn't care about the world. He just want's to hide it by sending more troops to Iraq, just to show everyone there is a war. There is NO war. Bush justs want to do the things he wants for money and he doesn't care about the innocent little people and children who lost their homes and are dead.

Another thing is, is that Bush thinks he is trying to make peace between the Muslims. But he is not, he never understood the Islamic religion and he doesn't know that main conflict between Shia and Sunni. So who the hell does he think he is? If he gets impeached or leaves office that would be the best thing ever.

Once again he is just killing people- Muslims and Ameicans to make money!

Bush has taken the country to the breaking point and he has done this will our support along the way. His goal is probably to destroy freedom of the individual and bring about a for of goverment that will make a current dictatorship look like lolypop land. This new government will be a world power and use some of the most advanced technologys our government has secretly been developing to keep the masses at bay untill it can find a way to erradicate them and replace them.
Good Luck and Have Fun.

Nothing more or less than Alexander the Great, Ptolomy, Julius Ceaser, Ivan the Terrible, Queen Victoria, the Hapsburgs, Louis the XIV, Adolf Hitler, Charlemagne, Ghengis Khan, Atilla the Hun ........... need we go on? But, hey; we're all still here stronger than ever although obviously not learning from history.

I don't know. It does seem really crazy. He practically just said he was going to deploy the troups! Send them home.

And all the government was going to do is figure out the best fastest way to do that.

He said that, as far as I know, after Thanksgiving, Christmas, and before New Year.

Then immediately he is sending 92,000 more! What could possibly be the point of that. There is someone in my family fully trained, so she might have to go. I am really worried for her.

It's ridiculous, barbaric, senseless. Even if it was for a good cause you could see it, But what is with these heartless double messages.

Now they are saying the E.U. is against it. But Japan and are other allies are for it?

All I know is it is really playing havoc with the feelings of the relatives and friends who have people there.

It even caused some people to want to get married many years sooner than they wanted to, because they are that afraid they will never see each other again.

I think he said it best in August 2004.

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."—Washington, D.C.,

Only its not only the U.S. he is hurting, it the rest of the world, with his war mongering and total disregard for the environmental destruction his policies have accelerated..

No country is perfect, but Bush (which includes his father, who's original invasion of iraq, junior finally managed to complete) has made the US the worst culprit.
He has also made those countries that went to his aid, against public opinion, I might add here, targets for extremist organisations.
Shame on his greed and shame on our own government for being so damned spineless to say NO!!

I agree, he's an idiot. He has no real idea why we are there, what to do or how to get out of Iraq. He's a complete idiot and I think history will show that he was incompetent at best.

The guy is obviously as daft as a brush!. Would he send his own family to fight in Iraq? I don't think so!
The country may not have been the safest place in the world to live, but it looks as though its a thousand times worse now.
Maybe he should be admitted to hospital and not let out again until his medication takes effect!!
