This song makes me angrier than anything I've ever known! It's a horrible song. The lyrics are heartbreaking! Anyone who's ever gone through it has to go through it over and over again because it's so over-played and people all over the place are saying it's the best song ever. Sure, it's got a catchy beat, but really? What the hell? Why do people, ESPECIALLY GIRLS, love this song? This is friggin ridiculous!!!!!! It's like that song Follow Me by Uncle Cracker! This is just as bad if not worse! "Sometimes I wish it was you?" Come on! Why do these songs go anywhere? The song sucks and it's like I'm the only person in the world who thinks it! Do you? Why or why not? Please tell me I'm wrong in feeling alone with this.

Also to certain answers and whomever gave me thumbs-downs: It's kinda pointless to call me stupid. I noted that it had a good tune to it. But lyrics are a part of the song too. And are just as important as any other part of the song. If they weren't why not just listen to instrumentals? [Which I do listen to also].

To whomever said the answer with the person wanting someone already in a relationship: I can understand that, but in the song it's still kind of different because he's the one in the relationship wanting the other woman [who also, according to the song, is in a relationship with the guy that she wishes were the singer]. So really, they could both break up with the two people and be together instead of putting his girlfriend and her boyfriend through whatever it is they're doing, you know? I don't know. It's just horrible to me.

I couldn't agree more. It baffles me why so many women like this song. The guy is singing about how much he doesn't want to be with his girlfriend and wishes she was some other girl that he is talking to on the phone. How does that not make him a jerk!?

It may be a horrible song to a lot of people. It can hit home with ya in two ways, one being- you're the girl he is cheating on which ya would suck beyond belief. But on the other hand, its such a real song, I mean how many times are there people in these situations, you like somebody and they are already in a relationship, but you still want to be with them cause you know he's right for you. This exact topic was being discussed on the radio the other day, and most of the people that called in about it, was in that situation, where they wanted the one already in a relationship. It's life!

You are definetely not alone in your thinking. I cannot stand that friggin song. Everytime I hear that song I cringe. It's not a badly written song - it's just depressing and horribly over-played. I think they once did the research and said it was on 43% of myspace pages. REDICULOUS!!!

i agree. I dont understand why people say it is a sweet song. It is about a dude who is going out with another girl but telling his ex that he wants to be with her. that guy sounds like a dick to me

Okay, i'll give you that they play it WAY TOO MUCH! It USED to be a great song, but now i'm just sick of it. However, it is still a good song............. and not just because its catchy. I do admit, its not Hinder's best song, but still................. oh, and i know A LOT of girls & boys who like that song.................

It pisses me off because it just pushes forward this idea that everyone stays hung up on that ONE person the rest of their life, and everyone else after is inadequate and deserves to get cheatedon because they're not "her."

OMFriggen god, do i HATE this effing song. ok, so NOT ONLY did I have the worst time at my friendds boyfriend's homecoming but i had MY OWN worst night mare at MY OWN and of COURSE...what song nut lips of an angle was playing righ twhenit al happened..this song SUXS ***! i hate it..!
