If you would like to get them off both your ipod and computer, just delete the song from iTunes and then connect your ipod, it will update accordingly.
If you would like to get the some just off your ipod, I'd suggest (in iTunes) you unlick the little blue box left of the song, so that when you conenct your ipod to the computer, and it updates, the song won't be on your ipod, but still in iTunes.

Throw it in the toilet. Just kidding. Sync it up with whichever songs you want. If you don't want the songs on the Nano, uncheck it on iTunes.

If you have a Mac, get hold of a program called 'Senuti' that does it for you (get it at www.fadingred.org/senuti). On a PC there are similar programs; there used to be one called PodUtil but I don't know if it's still supported. You could try searching www.versiontracker.com/windows

do you mean to delete them? or download them to a computer? to delete them, sync with iTunes after deleting the song in iTunes. For the download to another computer, there is software out there that will do that, it is illegal, but easy to find.
