I just recentley changed a door on a focus and swapped everything from the old door to the new one. After i had finished the central locking would lock then instantly unlock both doors (3 door), then after a few hours they would lock but it only took 1 press instead of 2, then they went back to unlocking themselves! I disconnected the harness on the driverside and the passenger door locks by using the remote. The driver door doesnt lock even with the key so im thinking it could be both mechanical and electrical as water could have got into the motor or harness and the actual lock seems to be jammed. anybody who could help would be doing me a big favour!
