My partner fought in the first Iraq war..left a happy young kid...got exposed to toxic wastes, took some crazy anti-chemical warfare pills, saw people get killed, dead bodies, etc came back pissed as hel* at the world, aches and pains all over, and haven't seen 'em happy since...they can't get along well with people anymore...they have a hard time dealing with waiters/waitresses, customer service reps, etc
I couldn't take the rage anymore..
