Democrats are lying hypocrites who would rather sabotage the war, destroy this country and ruin the economy than to allow Bush any success. They only repeat the same hateful DNC / Clinton / Dean lies and close their eyes to the truth.
Republicans can think for themselves and would not trash the country just to satisfy their lust for hate and power like the dems.

Well, not to get into all the other outside insult stuff.
Basically Economic, Social, and Political Theory.
Democrats generally accept Marxist ideals, if not the whole shabang. They have an relativist view on morals. Etc.
Republicans are more inclined to accept the economic theory of Adam Smith. The are stricter in terms of morals. Etc.
This is extremely simplistic and there are a lot more differences.
