The Northeast is a tough division, so they are really going to have to pick it up if they want to get in the playoffs. I doubt they can do it.

I believe that the Toronto Maple Leafs will make the playoffs, they only have two poitions to be in a playoff spot. Just look at the Stanley Cup winners Carolina Hurricanes they are in 6 th. spot in there division.

To smart mouth. I will bet you $1 the Leafs will make it past the 1st round of the playoffs. I have always wanted to be a millionaire. They are in eighth in the east and when they get back their key players from injury they will be higher. They always play better against better teams and in the playoffs they may not win the cup but will go deep. Once the draft picks they have pan out in future years look out

It doesn't matter if they do or not, the chances of the Leafs actually advancing past the first round even if they make it in at all must be a million to one. They just do not have the depth on the team required to be successful. So come playoff time it will be Golf Leafs Golf instead of Go Leafs Go.

The Eastern Conference standings are incredibly tight. I heard today on Rogers Sportsnet that even the Flyers can still make the playoffs mathmatically (I think I heard four points out of eighth). And they're more or less dead last in the conference. So, yeah, you know what? The Leafs are only at .500 and they do have a shot at making the post-season.

Go Leafs.

Preseason skill honestly not something. maximum human beings of the gamers on the ice have a slime transformations of creating the crew. Preseason is meant as a tryout for the crew. regardless of Kessel, the Leafs are nonetheless interior the same crappy zone that they prefer to be in. that's, they're going to finally end up someplace between 7 and 12 contained in the dep.. Crappy adequate to not have homestead ice earnings contained in the playoffs, yet not crappy adequate for a good p.c... nicely the p.c.. not concerns when you consider that they lost it contained in the Kessel signing.

Have you look at the active roster recently???? Put the leafs in the minors and they may win.
