just bought a 96 saturn sl1 and the dealer replaced the head gasket and did a radiater flush. now i have sludge in my antifreeze and the oil is going somewhere.

take it back to the dealer and make him fix it right or you will be replacing an engine very soon.

Leaking head gasket is the most likely, a cracked head or block is next. Some head gaskets need to be re-torqued after the engine is warmed up. I'd guess they screwed up the repair.

If the head gasket set was replaced properly, then it is likely either the block or the head itself that is leaking due to a crack.

cracked block ,, usually in an oil gallery somewhere,
gm use to have the problem in lifter area.
in this case i would almost bet on the head gasket area.

sounds like the head gasket isn't fixed
