I have also heard this theory, as well as best hair and tallest candidate. I believe that the public is so shell shocked by the Bush presidency that this next election will be diferent than others. Not because voters are smarter, but because voters will want to send a message to the political world. Voters may send a candidate into office just because they promise to end war and not start new ones... and that could be anyone. In my opinion, the candidate "percieved" to be honest will win, and that has nothing to do with actual honesty and much more to do with the press and television.

I could see how thats true, there are tons of studies about unconciously picking, liking, talking...to the more attractive person vs the not so attractive. As to who's the next president well lets see how the theory plays out there....
