See, I take dance class, and my teacher doesn't let us wear underwear. I am also creeped out about that as well. So I am also wondering how I'm supposed to get used to either of them!! Tampons, and commando? Ugh, ballet isn't fun anymore...

Why won't your teacher let you wear underwear? That's very disturbing. If she's worried about pantie lines, then wear a thong.
I'd suggest getting a new teacher. Many people drip when they wear tampons too. My mom has to wear a pad with her tampon.
Seriously, something is wrong with your teacher. And what's the point of dancing if you can't enjoy it?

Well, I couldn't do it until I lost my virginity, but now that I wear them, I would never go back! They make you feel sooooo much cleaner than with pads! Have a girlfriend that wears them or your mom help you. I taught my friend! Just angle it a little toward your rear end and slide it in up to your fingers, and then push the end until the two pieces are together. Use the plastic ones first until you get used to it. Read the little paper that comes in the box.

The way to conquer this fear is just by doing it. Take a deep breath follow the instructions and you will be just fine. It doesnt hurt and after insurted you dont even know its there. Ballet is fun, being a woman isnt always lol. Good luck sweety

i had that same problem when i was younger. i had been using pads for almost 4 years and didn't even know where to begin with tampons but my mom finally told me use a tampon or nothing at all! i found its actually not as bad as i had thought. you don't even feel it once its in! you just have to take a deep breath and do it. in the tampons box theres also instructions on how to insert it its really not bad at all so dont worry!

Well just try it when your not in class and stretch and do your ballet thing just to get used to it. And wear a panty liner with your tampon, they are really thin and probably cant see them. A pad is like a small diaper, I wouldnt recommend wearing one with out panties. Hope that helps.

Get the smallest ones possible. They have them for teens, I assume they have to be the smallest ones out there. You may need to do some practice runs, but you'll get it. But this should be about what you want, not your teacher.

i would look for a new teacher. she can't tell you not to wear underwear. and for the other just try them for a few hours while on your period. till you get used to them. other than that i have no clue. good luck

dont follow the instructions cuz they tell you to put one foot on the toilet and that is nasty. if your going to use it then have your mom show u how and just read the instructions for other stuff you need to know.
