It should. Ivy loves water. Give it a try.
Keep it in a bright window but not in any direct sun until it begins to get some roots. Otherwise, you'll burn it.

Yes it will. Keep it warm in a light window and it will root. But remember before planting it, Ivy is real invasive. (it will really become a nuisance and take over)
