whenever a male friend of mine calls me he really has nothing to say,hes very boring and i feel like i gotta think of everything to talk about.after a while i ask him if hes ready to hang up because im bored as hell being on the phone with him but he never wants to hang up why i dont know? any suggestions or thoughts?

Sure, just don't answer your phone. Some people are just not fun on the phone while in real life they're wonderful people. You don't have to have a phone relationship in order to keep him as your friend.

The next time that you and him talk, you start the conversation out, try to talk about him, and go from there, and whey you get finished with your statement, ask him his thoughts, and feelings about the situation. Its sounds like that he is hiding something. Maybe he's trying to open up to you. You'll need to find out whats bothering him. Just ask him in a nice way. Let him know that you are there for him as well. Hope things will work out for the best.
