I think that Alyssa Michelle is a very nice name...though they are both pretty common. I would suggest perhaps keeping the name Alyssa but coming up with a different, more unique middle name. If you're married, what about your maiden name? What a place that means something to you (like the name Dallas for example) or an occupation that means something (Saylor). Whatever the name you come up with, it will be a nice name as long as it has sentimental value and meaning behind it...rather than some random name that you found in a baby book or on a website.
Good Luck!

Well I have three daughters but as two of them are my step kids i did not name them; Kayla Marie, Reilly Ann and my natural daughter was named Genevive Ellen...which has turned into Viva for short which I love.
I am now expecting triplet 2boys and a girl and at the moment our plan is to call the girl Juliette Kate.
The best advice I can give you is...when you decide on a name and think of all the nicknames that could come out of it,if you are okay with those then your all set.
Congratulations and Good luck

Make sure that the name you choose for the baby is not just a 'fad' name. Also remember that your baby will one day be an adult. Just because a particular name is cute for a baby, doesn't mean it will be 'adorable' as an adult name. Some cutsie names can begin to sound immature as your child ages.

Maybe you should choose a more traditional/common name as the first name, and be creative with the middle name.

Names like Audrey, Julia, Alexis, Emily, and Adrian are all sophisticated, but feminine.

Good Luck

I think Alyssa Michelle is a pretty name but how about Treasure. Its different. I know alot of ppl probably dont agree on this name but I like it because there aren't alot of ppl with this name.
