The skeleton along with cartilege and ligaments and muscle and skin all go together to support the body and fight the force of gravity too.

Otherwise, you'd be lying all squidgy on the road like a stood in piece of poo.

i'm not sure about this but isnt it the muscles that support the body not the skeleton
