Dirk because he can shoot, drive, rebound, and pass the ball.
Kobe because he is now developing his passing game and is a far better scorer.
LeBron because he is a better overall player. TMac keeps getting injured and he's not much of an assister.
Amare because he is faster, he can rebound, score, and block shots.
Jason Kidd because he is a better passer and he can turn up the points if he wants to. He has 6 triple doubles this season. Don't forget he has more experience.
J.R. Smith because he is a better 3 point shooter, better shooter overall, the better scorer, and he can rebound.
GOOD QUESTION :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR

Dirk-better all around player. can hit the 3, and can shoot free throws.
Kobe - proven scorer. Can create his own shot as well as dish.
LBJ - Stls, assts, rebounds, blocks, scoring...all from one guy!
Big Ben- - Only because Amare still isn't super consistent since coming back. Ben will get you the boards, blocks, and stls needed down under.
Kidd - Triple double threat each and every night. points, rebounds, assts.
JR Smith-don't need another ball handler and kobe can take the last minute shots. JR is a spot up 3 shooter who will be left wide open when kidd penetrates and all eyes would be on kidd, lbj, and kobe...

Duncan-true power forward/center, he's good at blocking shots and can bang with anyone down low
Nash-he's a true team leader and creates many opportunities for his teammates
Lebron-not injury prone, and is about as one of the most explosive players in the league
Billups-I want an outside shooter, and since I already have Nash to create I don't need Kidd so Billups is my choice for the sharp shooter
Gordon-coming off the bench he's not a drop off for the guy he would be replacing, most likely Billups. Very quick and can drive and create his own shot.

Dirk- can shoot anywhere with regularity which stretches the defese and opens up opportunities for teamates
nash- nobody likes a ball hog. he can create for his team while putting up 18 pts of his own. great passer.
Lebron- can do it all and doesnt have back problems like tracy
Amare- cuz he doesnt suck from the FT and can shoot a jumpshot. also plays decent defense and is way more explosive than ben
Kidd- plays good D, and is a triple double threat
Gordon- neither is consistent but when hes in the zone gordon can light it up from anywhere and drop 30+

Dirk
Duncan is consistent, but Dirk is even more consistent.
Steve Nash
There isn't any controversy with Nash, as of yet. Plenty of it is around Kobe.
LeBron James
T-Mac is injury prone and LeBron is the future of the NBA
Ben Wallace
Amare has to prove himself that he can compete with the likes of Ben Wallace.
Toss Up
This one is too close to call, they each have their advantages.
Ben Gordon
Mr. Clutch
