That fish is a "Remora". It is a little fish with a sticky pad on top of its head. It attaches to the shark and waits until the shark finds a fish to eat.
Hopefully some scraps of the dead fish will feed the Remora too. The Remora can let go of the shark at any time, then get back on later for a free ride. The shark is never desparate enough for food to eat a little snack like a Remora. too small and fast to catch.
Did you know that sharks MUST SWIM constantly in order to pass water over their gills...and breathe? So the Remora always has a free ride, too.

The Remora does not eat bacteria. Those little "cleaner fish" live amongst the coral reefs and clean fish as they swim nearby... but never attach themselves to the fish.

The fish on the bottom of sharks is usually a remora, a kind of sucker fish. They eat scraps left over from the sharks dinner. The sharks don't eat them because they evolved to stick to a part of the shark with no mouth or teeth. Check them out here:

Enjoy!

It's called a guide fish, it's a symbiosis relationship, where both parties gain from being paired up, in this case the small fish gains food scraps, the big one, not reeing very well, is guided by the smaller one and he wouldn't dream of eating him. There's plenty other fish in the sea! (Or there used to be, anyway)
