My aunt recently re-applied for nursing school and after being accepted, the adminstration officer agreed to call her later about her class schedule. My aunt has called the school, left messeges, and gone back on several occasions. She feels she's been discriminated against because she is legally blind and needs assistance for class and computer software. I hope this has all been a big misunderstanding, but she is very upset and doesn't know what to do next.

She should send a certified letter to the head of the school outlaying her concerns. State on the letter that she expects to hear from them within ten days of receipt.
If they don't comply then contact the department within the state for which the school is licensed.

Most professional and trade schools take off 3-4 weeks during the holidays. Was she trying to reach them during a time they were closed?

She shouldn't just assume that her disability is the cause of the noncommunication. Regular joes get that too sometimes.
